Hello. We are team Mongol Mutiny! We are entering the Adventurists Mongol Rally 2011

In July 2011 we’ll be driving 10,000 miles in an ambulance to Mongolia across three continents, two deserts.

But why an ambulance?

Mongolia’s 3 million people are spread over an area equal to Western Europe, meaning many sick people face a 3 day trip to get to a hospital. It is essential to have an adequate fleet of ambulances, which Mongolia does not have.  We will be leaving our ambulance with a village when we leave.

We are also raising money for Amnesty International and the Christina Noble foundation.

We are self funding and looking for sponsorship to pay for our Ambulance and participation.

(See our route map for more information)

The Adventurists are the organisers of the annual rally

At time of writing the Adventurists have raised £2.5m for charity, which they distribute through their registered charity, Adventure for Development.

Their strap line is

“Saving the World Through Adventure”

The Adventure

Mongol Mutiny will be setting off from Goodwood in our Ambulance, West Sussex. Taking around six weeks, there is no official route, no support vehicles, no glam film crews… just us and a thermos.

Crucially, this can only happen with your help!

Please look through our pages for more information. We hope to raise money for worthy charities and help save the world through adventure.

Drop us a line!
